This Martin Luther King Jr. Day comes at a pivotal moment for our country. A time of unprecedented challenge - and unprecedented hope.
This year, we elected Georgia's first Black Senator, flipped the state and the Senate blue, elected Kamala Harris, our first Black, first Asian-American, first woman Vice President, and came together as a nation to reject Donald Trump's hate and bigotry by voting him out of office.
In this moment, we must follow Dr. King's legacy and do everything we can to strengthen our democracy.
