As President-elect Biden reminded us last year, “Think about what it takes for a Black person to love America. That is a deep love for this country that for far too long, we have never recognized.”

 

On MLK Jr. Day and every day, we recognize that love, which Martin Luther King Jr. showed in every protest and demand for equality. It’s time this country showed the same love back.
