Friend,
Fifty-three years after his death, Rev. Martin Luther King Jr.’s legacy continues to be a moral touchstone for our country.
For many of his 39 short years on Earth, MLK was the conscience of America.
He fought for a more just future, and never gave up hope that change was possible.
Dr. King’s optimism never clouded his acknowledgement of the very real obstacles that we face.
The resilience of Dr. King’s faith inspires me. Throughout his life, he believed in our country’s promise.
I still believe we can build a better future. We can bring Americans together to heal and build a future where we tackle the big problems that we face as a nation. We must believe that change is possible, and never stop working towards it.
That’s why I am asking you to chip in $5, $10, or $25 to help us to keep fighting for real, bipartisan solutions.
Let’s work together to see Dr. King’s dream realized.
Onward,
— Tom
