As Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. said, "Everybody can be great--because anybody can serve".

Today and every day, we honor those who stand up and serve in the face of injustice and remember MLK's powerful legacy.

His vision for a true democracy has never been more needed. We still have work ahead of us to achieve equality for every American, to promote better jobs and higher wages, and to truly know justice and know peace.

May we choose to answer King's call to action every day, so that together, we may realize his dream for future generations.
