Friend,
Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. would have been 92 this year. And although he's not with us, Dr. King's legacy remains an example of how we can continue his struggle today.
Now more than ever, as we fight to hold those who encouraged a violent coup accountable, Dr. King's steadfast commitment to the causes of equality and justice is an inspiration to me. I’m proud to fight for civil rights in Washington -- to work to break down barriers, end white supremacy, strengthen voting rights, and advocate for the dignity of all working people.
As we look ahead to the Biden Administration, I hope we can all stand together to honor Dr. King’s legacy and continue pushing for progress.
