This day is vital to our success. It shows the energy and the heart behind our movement.
But of course, everything is different this year. The pandemic is still gripping our communities and the legislature is conducting business remotely. So instead of lining up outside the hearing rooms at 6 am, we are home.
But that doesn’t mean we are any less fired up. It’s never been more clear that progress on gun violence prevention can’t wait. From rejecting armed intimidation and prohibiting high-capacity magazines to protecting investments in violence prevention programs and addressing bias in policing, we desperately need action to keep our communities safe.
