Earlier this month, the people of Georgia did something monumental — they elected Rev. Raphael Warnock, making history by sending the state's first Black man to the U.S Senate.

His election is nothing short of a triumph and a proud addition to the legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.’s fight for civil rights, racial equality, and social progress. And Warnock’s historic win wasn’t our only victory. Georgia voters also turned a historically red state blue by electing Joe Biden and Kamala Harris; and helped to flip the Senate — an incredible accomplishment that wouldn’t have been possible without your support.

But if Dr. King’s legacy has taught us anything, it’s that progress isn’t inevitable. We must always fight for freedom.
