There are various local, state and federal events occuring this week, we encourage you to celebrate the upcoming inauguration safely and adhering to social distancing guidelines:

Monday, January 18th (Martin Luther King, Jr Day) :

In collaboration with the Presidential Inaugural Committee, we are hosting a PPE Drive from our Morris Plains HQ from 10am-7pm to donate to local hospitals in the county. For more information and what donations will be accepted please sign up here!

Tuesday, January 19th:

The Mount Olive Democrats are hosting a free Tenants Rights Seminar including eviction and COVID-related discrimination, featuring Attorney Cara Parmigiani, sign up here for Zoom details.

Wednesday, January 20th:

INAUGURATION DAY! There are a variety of events for you to tune into including:

- The Mount Olive Democrats are co-hosting an Inauguration Watch Party via Zoom at 7:30pm, more details and RSVP here.

- NJ Women are hosting a Inauguration Watch Party at 11:30am, with a suggested donation of $10 to Run Sister Run, RSVP here.

- Inauguration coverage begins at 11:30am with the ceremony beginning at 12:00pm and will be broadcast on all major television networks (PBS, ABC, CBS, NBC, FOX, CNN, MSNBC) as well as streamed online via the Biden Inaugural Committee page.

Thursday, January 21st:

Please join us at A Conversation with Congresswoman Mikie Sherrill, hosted by the Morris Township Democratic Committee and moderated by Deputy Mayor Mark Gyorfy.
