Friends,

Tomorrow, as we celebrate Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., I hope you'll join me in reflecting on his life and legacy, and in recommitting ourselves to realizing his vision to build a peaceful, fair and just society.

It can be hard to find hope in times like these, especially when dysfunction and disunity feel so constant. But figures like the late Dr. King and Congressman John Lewis give me hope. Their passion, courage and dedication to breaking barriers and building bridges continue to be an inspiration.

So tomorrow, to honor the spirit of Dr. King and his fellow leaders of the civil rights movement, the Inauguration team of President-elect Biden and Vice President-elect Harris is encouraging all of us to join them in a National Day of Service. I encourage you to volunteer and sign up today! [link removed]

So, I hope that you will join me tomorrow in honoring Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.'s legacy by serving our community however you are able to and by continuing his fight for justice and equality for all.

In solidarity,

Lori----
