As Republican Liz Cheney explained earlier this week, "The President of
the United States summoned this mob, assembled the mob, and lit the flame
of this attack. Everything that followed was his doing. None of this would
have happened without the President. The President could have immediately
and forcefully intervened to stop the violence. He did not.”

The Washington Post editorial board agrees: "The known scale of Mr.
Trump’s offense already qualifies him for severe punishment, and the
danger he poses to American civic life is too substantial to ignore...The
Senate must convict him quickly."

AOC answers back to Republicans belatedly calling for unity: "There can be
no unity without accountability."

disqualify him from ever holding federal office again."

And, [ [link removed] ]donate to our work building pressure in Congress to EXPEL Ted
Cruz, Josh Hawley, and the 145 other Republican traitors who voted to
overturn our democracy.
