Dear,

Of the Seditious Seven California representatives who voted to challenge
our democracy, Devin Nunes is the absolute worst.

Not only did the congressman vote to not certify Joe Biden’s Electoral
College victory, he voted against impeaching Donald Trump for instigating
the insurrection at the Capitol Building -- saying that Congress was going
overboard over a "mistake."

Courage California is going to present Nunes with a Medal of Treason from
our members to call him out for his complicity in Trump’s crimes, and we
want to gather as many signatures as possible to let him know just how
much he’s betrayed his constituents and country.

Nunes is still repeating the absolutely baseless claim that voter fraud
swung the election in Biden’s favor, despite the fact that Biden won by
nearly 7 million votes.(1,2)

His claims are undermining our democracy, threatening the American
people’s faith in the ballot box that our government depends on. And it's
lies like these that stoked the violence at the Capitol Building.

Nunes should be under investigation, but instead, Trump just awarded him
the Medal of Freedom -- one of the highest honors the executive branch
bestows -- for “pursuing the Russia hoax.”(3)

In other words, Nunes received the award that has previously gone to
people like Dolores Huerta, Bayard Rustin, and Shirley Chisholm because he
did everything possible to help Trump escape accountability for colluding
with Russia.

Nunes is a traitor to his country, and we’re not going to let him forget
it until his term is up until 2022. We’re going to award him with our
first-ever Medal of Treason, and we’re going to remind him of it at every
possible turn. Will you sign our card that we’ll deliver with his award?
