John, all across the country today state capitols and federal court houses are on lock-down, bracing for planned attacks by Trump supporters egged on and abetted by the President himself.

Typically, many schools, roads, court houses, and other federal buildings and properties get renamed in honor of former Presidents over the years following their service. But last week, Donald Trump was impeached for inciting an insurrection and his words are threatening federal buildings nationwide, costing millions in extra security and putting lives -- and democracy -- at risk.

That's why to move this country forward from the devastatingly criminal and dangerous Trump administration, we must take action to limit the reach of Trump's legacy in every way possible. One of the easiest, and yet also most important, is to not memorialize Trump with statues, buildings and roads named in his honor.

Joaquin Castro is introducing a bill to ban Donald Trump's name from any federal property. Add your name NOW to our petition calling on every member of Congress to join him in making it law.

ADD YOUR NAME

We will deliver on the promise of change and it starts with accountability for everyone who tried to bring our government down... including Donald Trump. Thank you for building momentum for action by adding your name today.

John,

Representative Joaquin Castro is preparing to introduce legislation that will keep Donald Trump’s name off of our federal property.

That’s right, we can ban the man who loves to see his name in lights from seeing it on any of our federal buildings.

We cannot allow a person who had his base of white supremacists attack our country to ever have the honor of his name being on any of our federal property.

Add your name NOW to our petition calling on Congress to keep Trump’s name off of our federal property.

ADD YOUR NAME

As a perpetually failed businessman, Trump is used to having his name prominently placed on various towers, hotels, and casinos; but with what we witnessed over the last four years and last week when Trump incited an insurrection against our country we must begin to wash away the stains of his hate by never honoring his name.

And as Rep. Castro pointed out, we cannot let Trump become a future generation’s confederate symbol.

We have worked so hard to remove statues and rename buildings that honor leaders of the confederacy.

Instead of working retroactively, we can be proactive and ensure from the start that this twice impeached president has absolutely no chance to use his name to continue spreading hate and division.

Add your name now to prohibit Trump’s name from ever being on a federal building.

Ban Trump's Name

Thank you for raising your voice on this today.
