As President-elect Joe Biden prepares to assume office next week, BPC experts provided insight into what Biden’s priorities might be and how they might be accomplished under an evenly divided Senate.

 

 

BPC and the U.S. Chamber of Commerce announced a joint campaign urging Congress to enact an ambitious investment this year in American infrastructure in order to create incentives to put Americans back to work in good-paying jobs and build our nation’s economy for the future.

BPC's Latest Work

As COVID-19 exposed the fragility of the child care market, with thousands of child care programs being permanently closed and driving many more to the brink of financial collapse, the pandemic also put a spotlight on policies necessary to stabilize child care businesses. BPC's Linda Smith and Suzann Morris explain how stability can be reached in the child care market.

 

As the federal government transitions to the Biden administration, there have been increased calls to reduce the population of those detained and utilize alternative to detention programs instead. BPC's Kathleen Fink and Theresa Cardinal Brown examine alternative immigration enforcement tools from abroad.
