Here’s what you can do to help:

Indivisibles,

Everything about this impeachment vote is completely unprecedented. Trump is the first president to be impeached twice -- through the most bipartisan impeachment vote in history -- and reports suggest he’s coming close to being the first president ever to be convicted and disqualified from ever holding public office again.

A few Senate Republicans have already expressed their willingness to convict, but we need a total of 17 Republicans to get this done. Maintaining momentum is critical -- we have to keep applying pressure to secure the support to make it happen. Call your senators this week and demand they vote to convict and disqualify Donald Trump from holding federal office in the future.

We’re waiting to learn more on the timeline of Trump’s second impeachment trial, but  here’s a handy graphic that breaks down what we’ve accomplished so far and what comes next:

The Senate is currently scheduled to come back into session on January 19, meaning impeachment proceedings will run through the beginning of Joe Biden’s term. Even though the trial might start after Trump has left office, it’s still a worthwhile use of the Senate’s time to hold him accountable for inciting an insurrection. We've seen enough -- let's bring Trump to justice once and for all.

This is a fight we can win, but we need everyone who can to make calls this week and keep calling until the Senate has taken its final vote.

In solidarity,
Indivisible Team
