Two years ago, with the backing of NY-22 voters, I took an oath to our country and this district. But since the 117th Congress was sworn into office earlier this month, this seat has remained vacant while Claudia Tenney continues her attempts to undermine the integrity of our democracy and suppress legal votes from being counted.
More than ever before, it’s clear that NY-22 needs a fairly-elected representative fighting for them in Congress, but I want you to know that I remain steadfast in my commitment to this community. And that includes our efforts to ensure that the voices of the voters are heard in this race.
When our democratic process is finished, I will be ready to take the same oath I swore two years ago and continue serving you in Washington.
