As Wednesday's inauguration events draw nearer, I've taken some time to reflect on the moments that got us here, the reasons we emerged victorious in this battle for the soul of our nation.

Hosted by Keegan-Michael Key and Debra Messing, the concert will have performances by AJR, DJ Cassidy, Fall Out Boy, Ben Harper, Carole King, James Taylor, and feature Michael Bivins, Connie Britton, Sophia Bush, Jaime Camil, Kal Penn, and will.i.am -- along with Vice President-elect Kamala Harris, and myself.
