Please ? read this today? ? ? ? ? In a historic 232-197 vote this week at the Capitol, Donald Trump was impeached by the House again.

We're in a dangerous moment for the country, and for the environment, friend. At this point, Trump has virtually zero accountability to the public and he is using his final days to push forward some of the most damaging actions of his term.

Just this Tuesday, Trump's EPA tried to block any future greenhouse gas limits on the oil and gas industry and other major polluters. He is defending his title of "Dirtiest of All Time" on his way out the door ? and in the process letting white supremacists AND environmental racism run wild in our nation.

We need to send a final message to the Trump administration that the environmental movement will not stand for this ? and our January Membership Campaign is our biggest opportunity to do that.

It's our most important fundraising effort of the year ? and a group of donors are triple matching all contributions to this campaign.

If you're in a position to do so, please ? renew your membership for 2021. Right now, all it takes is $5.

Friend, please renew your LCV membership today ? it only costs $5. Anything you can afford to contribute will make a difference in the outcome of the next four years ? [link removed]

When Trump finally leaves office we will all let out a giant sigh of relief. But friend, the fight is still far from over, and there are still so many reasons to renew your membership today. Here are just a few: Because the Trump EPA has finalized a scheme that would restrict the use of the best available science in EPA policymaking and private sector decisions. This has detrimental impacts on the EPA's ability to protect communities who are already experiencing the worst impacts of the climate crisis and the coronavirus pandemic, especially communities of color, from harmful pollution and chemicals. Pitch in to help stop them ? [link removed] Because the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service has moved to weaken enforcement of the Migratory Bird Treaty Act, a law that has been pivotal in holding companies accountable for killing birds from environmental disasters like oil spills ? this was especially important during the Deepwater Horizon catastrophe. We have to stop these projects, but it has to be now. Pitch in today ? [link removed] Because in one final attempt to gut the Clean Water Act, the administration is expected to finalize draft guidance that goes against the Supreme Court decision in the recent Maui Clean Water Act case and would narrow the law's jurisdiction to allow polluters to dump into our surface waters through groundwater. Please ? be a part of the fight ? [link removed] Because we just won an environmental majority in the Senate. Rev. Raphael Warnock and Jon Ossoff both made history, and now we're finally going to have a shot ? a real shot ? at passing a serious plan to tackle climate change. This is the environmental movement's now-or-never moment. We must make the first 100 days of the Biden administration transformational. Are you on board? Let's make it happen ? [link removed] Because if you donate as part of the 2021 Membership Drive, your contribution will be tripled. And not just this contribution ? but any donation you make to LCV in 2021. It's a smart way to maximize your impact for the environment this year ? [link removed] There's never been a better time to be an LCV Member. With Donald Trump on his way out of office and his anti-environment cronies out of power, the environmental movement can begin to reverse the damage of the past four years, and start building a clean energy future with the Biden administration.

You don't want to miss this moment friend ? renew your membership for 2021. Right now, all it takes is $5.

Having your support as the tides begin to turn will make all the difference. Please, renew your LCV membership now ? [link removed]
