John,
Just moments ago, I walked out of Mitch McConnell’s office. I was joined by fellow gun violence survivors as well as members of Congress. We had one simple ask:
Mitch McConnell: Bring lifesaving gun legislation to a vote!
We spent nearly two hours sharing our stories about gun violence. I shared how I was a teenager when a man with a history of violence shot my father and killed my mother. Brady Nevada Co-President Heather Sallan shared what it was like to survive the Route 91 shooting in Las Vegas. Brady California President Mattie Scott spoke of how she fights to honor her son, George, who was killed while attending a graduation party.
John, we won’t stop fighting. As we stood outside McConnell’s office, Rep. John Lewis said that “we have a moral obligation to raise our voices and use our marching feet.” Will you join me in raising your voice?

Every day, 100 people in America are shot and killed. This cannot go on. Either McConnell acts, or he’ll be seeing a lot more of all of us. We’ll bring more survivors to his door. We’ll keep rallying. We’ll keep calling. We won’t give up.
Please, if you can, consider a donation to Brady now. It’s in our hands to demand a better future for children, our families, and ourselves. [[link removed]]
Thank you,
