Second Raider Now in Production

The first B-21 stealth bomber will roll out in early 2022, with first flight expected in the middle of next year, Air Force Rapid Capabilities Office Director Randall Walden said in a recent interview. The second Raider is now in production as well, and will be used for structural tests. Beddown efforts are proceeding well, Walden said, and the Air Force is using a business jet to vet the B-21's avionics and sensors. The B-21 will be operational in 2026 or 2027, the Air Force's senior nuclear policy official added.
