Fight for $15

BREAKING: $15/hr is front and center in Biden's pandemic relief bill. We went on strike TODAY to win $15/hr >> [[link removed]]

John,

After eight years on the job, McDonald's pays me just $8.75/hr.

No sick days. No health insurance. Every time I take off to get my son treated for sickle cell disease at the hospital, I don't get paid.

If I didn't get food stamps, I would have no way to feed my family. If it weren't for Medicaid, my son would suffer without health care.

ENOUGH. Today, fast-food workers like me went on STRIKE across the country to demand companies pay us what we need to survive -- $15 an hour.

Watch and share this video to make sure our demand for $15 an hour is seen by all:

Workers like me have been walking off the job to demand $15 for years, and it's worked. From LA to Chicago we've seen more than $70 billion in raises for over 27 million workers thanks to our actions.

After turning out to vote in the millions for candidates who support $15, we've never been closer to raising the federal minimum wage (which in 20 states has been stuck at $7.25 for over a decade). Just last night, President-elect Biden announced he would make $15 an hour a key priority in his COVID response.

McDonald's has raked in record profits for years. Today we're claiming what we need to survive in this country. Watch and Share our STRIKE for $15 >> [[link removed]]

As I walked off the job today I felt grateful to know that you're on our side. I'm tired after risking my life on the frontlines of the pandemic, but energized by the possibility of winning $15 and union rights once and for all.

Now's our chance to make history. NOW is the time for $15 and a union!

In solidarity,
