Not known for their practicality, the Democratic presidential candidates have been unanimous in endorsing extreme "energy saving measures" such as those that make up the bulk of the Green New Deal. As Gary Bauer, editor of the End of Day Report describes, however, eliminating fossil fuels and carbon dioxide (also known as plant food) from our society would have extraordinarily destructive consequences in all areas of our lives.
