Friend, this week I introduced my first resolution on the House
floor.

It’s a bill calling for the expulsion of the Republican members of
Congress who attempted to overturn the results of the 2020 presidential
election and incited the white supremacist attempted coup.

We have to hold them accountable and force them to face the consequences
for their actions. They have violated their Oath of Office and, per
Section 3 of the 14th Amendment — they must be expelled.

Since this is my first piece of legislation, I’m going to need as much
support as possible. [ [link removed] ]Will you add your name as a citizen co-sponsor of
my bill to expel complicit Republican members of Congress?

What we do in the wake of this attack is critical to how we heal as a
country. We cannot have unity without accountability for the Republican
members of Congress who incited this violence.

Here’s the thing: this won’t be an easy job — but with your help, I know
we can make meaningful change to prevent the spread of this hate by some
GOP congressional leaders.

[ [link removed] ]The more support we have, the more we’ll be able to hold these
Republican members of Congress accountable. Please join me and add your
name as a citizen co-sponsor of my bill.

In solidarity,

-- Cori Bush, Congresswoman
