This is news worth celebrating, John! After years of losing money and power, the NRA just announced it is filing for bankruptcy and moving its headquarters to Texas.

We have been going up against the NRA’s deep pockets for years. Now after endless deception and mounting legal woes, the well is running dry. Help us make sure the NRA never regains its stranglehold on our country.

For years, the NRA has dealt in fearmongering and deception. Its leadership has spent membership dues on private yacht vacations and fancy suits. And its rhetoric has inspired and inflamed far-right armed extremists. It strayed so far from the safety and sportsman group it once was and finally, the lies and deception have caught up.

Make no mistake: This bankruptcy is a desperate attempt to avoid taking legal and financial responsibility for the damage the NRA has caused. They won’t get away with it.
