Impeaching President Trump for inciting insurrection is just the first step in protecting our democracy.

We can’t stop until every Republican member of Congress who stood by him and paved the way for last week’s domestic terrorist attack is held accountable for their betrayal of their oath of office.

That’s why I am co-sponsoring my Democratic colleague Cori Bush’s resolution to investigate and remove Republican members of Congress who tried to overturn the results of the election and incite sedition.

They must answer to the American people -- add your name if you believe that Trump’s Republican enablers must be held accountable for their complicity:

Unity means justice. Unity means accountability.

This will go down as one of the darkest times in our nation’s history -- but our commitment to the fight for a stronger, more equitable nation has not weathered.
