Hello —

The COVID-19 pandemic has touched each and every one of us, and for many working families and small businesses, this crisis has posed an unimaginable challenge.

In recent weeks, we have seen a significant spike in COVID-19 cases and deaths that’s only been made worse by the lack of adequate resources and the disastrous vaccine distribution.

Despite having months to prepare, the Trump administration has completely failed to develop and implement a comprehensive national vaccine plan.

Folks, less than 40% of the distributed vaccines have actually been administered — that’s a real problem. Because of Trump’s failure to plan, local communities across the nation are without resources and support they need from the federal government and are left to fend for themselves.

This means millions of Americans will continue to be left in the dark about when they can be vaccinated, and will ultimately have to wait even longer to receive the protection they need. We cannot forget that these health inequities will only be exacerbated for communities of color and rural towns by lack of adequate planning on the part of this current administration.

As COVID-19 cases continue to climb in Wisconsin and across the nation, we must take action now. Lives and livelihoods are at stake.

I am calling on the Trump administration to take immediate action to help distribute vaccines quickly, efficiently, and equitably. If you’re with me, add your name here: [[link removed]]

We need to do better. We need to work together now to stop the spread of this deadly virus and save lives.

It means so much to know that you have my back on this. Thank you.
