THANK YOU! To Stacey Abrams and all the organizers on the ground who worked tirelessly to flip Georgia blue→
Joe Biden and Kamala Harris became the first Democratic Presidential ticket to win Georgia since 1992 and they did so with a margin of just over 12,500 votes. Despite being significantly outspent by their GOP opponents, two candidates who had never served in elected office before — Jon Ossoff and Raphael Warnock — would go on to flip both of the state’s Senate seats by a margin of <2%. Joe, Kamala, Jon, and Raphael would not have won in Georgia if it weren’t for Stacey Abrams and the broad and diverse coalition of organizers who registered nearly 1 million new voters over the past four years. Republicans worked tirelessly to purge hundreds of thousands of Democrats, particularly Black Americans, from the voting rolls — But as hard as they worked, Stacey and her team worked harder to fight back. For years, they have put in the hours and done the thankless work of organizing locally, especially in communities that are often overlooked or written off by campaigns. We owe Stacey and every organizer a debt of gratitude: Let’s all take a moment to thank them for their tireless and historic work→
