John,
This past week, we saw exactly how far Big Tech is willing to go to silence
conservatives. President Trump was banned from all major social media platforms
including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Youtube, and more.
While these platforms are able to target conservative content,
they’re allegedly unable to keep terrorist, human trafficking,
and other crimes from their platforms.
This censorship of conservatives and withholding money from Republicans is a
clear abuse of power. Under Section 230, federal law ensures that Big Tech
companies are not liable for content posted on their site. Since they aren’t
held liable, yet choose to remove conservative ideals but refuse to remove
actual crimes, we need to remove that protection. Big TechMUST BE HELD
RESPONSIBLE.
