Dear Friends,

We are all struggling to come to terms with two of the greatest challenges America has ever faced - the insurrection at the US Capitol and the pandemic.

I know I still have waves of anger and sadness but there is work to be done and I am buoyed by all of you. Your friendship and support means more now than ever.

Here is what I am focused on in the short term. We have voted to impeach the President for unapologetically encouraging the storming of the Capitol. There are many others who need to be held accountable. I have a strong record of bipartisanship, but there are a number of Members and officials who played a role in these events that merit further investigation and far more rioters that must be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law.

You can read more about my experience here.

Just as important, the health and economic impact of the COVID pandemic has not been adequately dealt with, but fortunately our new President and Vice President have a plan!  I will work with them to deliver a strong relief package that helps our families, our businesses and our State!

Both of these events will have massive long term impacts and I will be working on these in the coming year - helping to heal our country from disease and division.

I will need the help of each and everyone of you to make a real difference.

Thank you and God Bless the United States of America!
