"The thugs who stormed the Capitol did not act alone -- complicit are elected officials... who have tried to overturn a free and obviously fair election."

Call on seditious Republicans to RESIGN >> [link removed]

Friend -- President Trump wasn't alone in inciting the insurrection at the U.S. Capitol last week. Dozens of Republican members of Congress joined him in his seditious acts.

Some members of Congress encouraged or even facilitated last week's assault on our democracy. For example, Louie Gohmert, who represents a gerrymandered district in Texas, encouraged violence in the preceding days. Mo Brooks of Alabama delivered a speech to the anti-democratic mob just moments before they violently attacked the Capitol, and two others have been accused of helping to plan the insurrection.

And in total, 147 members of the House and Senate voted against accepting President-elect Biden's landslide election win just hours after the failed coup.

The NDRC is calling for all 147 members who voted to overturn the results of a free and fair election to resign immediately. Will you add your name to our petition?

Let's be clear: We cannot move forward as a country until all responsible parties are held accountable for what happened on January 6. Impeaching Trump is just the first step. For months, Republicans in Congress cast doubts on the election results in yet another one of their craven attempts to hang on to power. Even after their disinformation campaigns led to the attack on the U.S. Capitol and the resulting deaths of five people, 147 members of Congress still refused to accept the truth about the election.

Now many of these 147 members are calling for "unity" -- but unity without accountability is just empty rhetoric. We need to restore our democracy, and that cannot happen when we have elected officials who don't understand, accept, or protect the rules of democracy.

We're asking the 147 seditious members of Congress to do the right thing and resign immediately. Please add your name to our petition.
