I'm Marc Elias, a lawyer fighting for Democrats and voting rights for all. And last March, I founded Democracy Docket to be the leading platform dedicated to fighting voter suppression across the country.

In 2020, we worked incredibly hard to turnout a record number of voters and fight against the Republicans’ voter suppression machine.

I know this is an area that the Win the Era community has been so focused on, and thanks to all of your support and activism we helped elect Joe Biden and Kamala Harris to the White House, keep the House blue, and flip the Senate.

However, our work is not finished.

Next year we will face many of these same challenges. Republicans didn’t wait to start suppressing voters for next cycle. Just last month, ahead of the Georgia runoff elections, they filed lawsuits attacking voting rights. Of course they weren't successful but I have no doubt that they will continue to challenge voting rights at every level.
