Friend,
It’s official: Donald Trump is now the first and only president to be impeached twice. The House of Representatives just took the most bipartisan impeachment vote in history with ten Republicans joining every single Democrat to charge Trump with “incitement of insurrection.”
So where did Virginia’s four Republican members of Congress stand? Exactly where they stood a week prior, when they voted to overturn the election even after a violent mob stormed the Capitol. Bob Good, Rob Wittman, Morgan Griffith, and Ben Cline stood with Donald Trump and voted against impeachment. While other Republicans did the right thing and stood up for democracy, they defended Trump’s authoritarianism until the very end.
Donald Trump won’t be on the ballot in 2022, but these four Congressmen will. And the work to replace them starts now. Just like in 2017, the coordinated campaign we’re putting together this year is going to lay the foundation for Democratic wins for the next four years. But we need your help. Can you chip in today?

Bob Good, Rob Wittman, Morgan Griffith, and Ben Cline aren’t the only Virginia Republicans who have stood behind Donald Trump even as others in their party condemned him for inciting violence. Republicans in the House of Delegates asked Mike Pence to overturn Virginia’s election results the day before the riot, and some even attended the January 6th protest.
Every single one of them is up for reelection this year, and we have a chance to show them the consequences of undermining democracy.
Can we count on you to donate to help us build the infrastructure we need to defeat them in November?
