In honor of Martin Luther King Day, the Presidential Inaugural Committee announced they will take part in the national day of service to pay homage to one of the greatest civil rights heroes in American history.

They are teaming up with local, state, and national groups to spread MLK's mission of reducing poverty, combating discrimination, and addressing injustice. Here at NV Dems, we are proud to follow their lead. Can we count on you to answer the call on this important day of action?

The ongoing COVID-19 pandemic has exacerbated much of the inequality MLK famously fought against. Now, it's up to us to carry the torch and ensure his message burns just as bright.

The soon-to-be-President Biden has his work cut out for him the minute he steps into the Oval Office. This weekend is an opportunity to hit the ground running and help combat some of the most pressing social justice issues of our time.
