Trump’s incitement of insurrection was one of the most traitorous things a president has ever done. He attempted a coup, and urged his supporters to act violently to overturn an election.

The House has now impeached him, with the support of ten Republicans. Liz Cheney, the Republican Conference Chair said “There has never been a greater betrayal by a President of the United States.”
