Folks, in the wake of the riot, Capitol police are working hard to keep our members of Congress safe with enhanced security measures like metal detectors.

Some members of Congress have been utterly disrespectful to these officers. Thankfully, Haley Stevens is there to show them what common decency looks like:

"[Rep. Lauren] Boebert just walked through the mag, set it off and ignored the cop who asked to wand her down...
Another [Republican] just walked through, set it off and ignored the cops trying to wand him down.
Meanwhile, Rep. Haley Stevens took off her shoes to go through."
-- Capitol Hill reporter

Here's what Haley had to say: "I know from time working in other federal buildings, the heels -- they set off the detectors every time."

Millions of Americans go through metal detectors every day on their way into work and school. It's really no big deal -- but apparently Haley's Republican colleagues don't think the rules apply to them.

Haley's doing everything she can to support law enforcement working to keep the Capitol safe during this tumultuous time. Chip in to keep Haley in Congress and let's keep showing what real leadership looks like.
