‌John,

The January 6th insurrection at the Capitol was an attack on the vote -- the very core of Voto Latino’s work. On your vote. On my vote. On every single one of the 156 million votes cast in the 2020 election.

The insurrectionists attacked because they know that when we all vote, they cannot win . They chose to storm the Capitol for a simple reason: Congress was inside, certifying Joe Biden’s election as the 46th president of the United States.

By disrupting the proceedings, the insurrectionists sought to disrupt our democracy. But they didn’t win. And we cannot ever let them win. We must protect the vote -- for every American.

Ahead of the 2020 election, Voto Latino registered over 600,000 new voters in states that sent Joe Biden to the White House, flipped Arizona, Wisconsin, and Georgia, held tight to Nevada, and sent Senators Kelly, Hickenlooper, Warnock, and Ossoff to DC.

In response to the tragedy of January 6th, we’re laying the groundwork to register another record-breaking number of voters in the coming years because this past election we also made Texas and North Carolina purple. If you can, please consider contributing to these crucial efforts.
