Nottingham, alongside the rest of the nation, is currently under strict lockdown restrictions, requiring people to stay at home as much as possible.
- If you must travel remain local and look to reduce journeys
- Walk or cycle if you can. If not, plan ahead and avoid travelling at peak times and on busy routes
- It is essential you wear a face covering for the entirety of your journey, including when waiting at stops unless exempt
- Keep your distance from others as best you can
- Always wash your hands before/after travelling and use available sanitising points
Download the NHS Covid19 Track & Trace app to keep yourself and those you love protected. Find out more on how to download here...
Please check with your local operator before travelling for the latest information.

On-street parking consultation
We’re reviewing our on-street pay and display parking machines in the city, and developing a programme to move toward a mainly cashless parking operation.
By using more pay by phone and contactless card options we can make the payment process easier for customers, minimise security risks and provide savings to the council through reduced machine maintenance and cash collection costs.
We’d love to hear your views – please take part in our survey by 31 January to help shape the final scheme.
Advanced Quality Partnership Scheme for bus services
Our strategy for buses in Nottingham is up for renewal, and we'd like to hear your thoughts.
Defining quality standards for bus operations, our Advanced Quality Partnership Scheme for Bus Services will be made on the 4 January 2021 and implemented in Nottingham City Centre on the 4 April 2021.
Robin Hood survey
