Happy New Year! I hope you are safe and well and managed to have a restful break over the holiday period.

As we begin the new year, I’m delighted to bring you some good news! You may remember our ‘Happy Mums, Happy Tums’ fundraising appeal that took place last winter.

We can finally confirm that Health Poverty Action’s ‘Happy Mums, Happy Tums’ appeal raised £212,505 thanks to generous donations from the public, and £100,788 of match funding from the UK government! 

Funds from this appeal will help improve the health and nutrition of pregnant women and children under five in Bombali and Karene districts in Sierra Leone, by improving access to health and nutrition services for families in remote villages.
