BIG TECH AREN'T THE ONLY ONES CENSORING CONSERVATIVES

Statement From One Nation Leader Senator Pauline Hanson

The removal of Donald Trump from social media platforms including Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram outraged many conservative followers over the past week.

During Trump’s time as President, I have no doubt he has purposely ridden a fine line when using social media platforms, particularly Twitter.

His detractors and media commentators have sought headlines from some of the most innocuous posts while having a field day with some of his deliberate and inflammatory statements.

But has the de-platforming of Trump finally forced people to open their eyes and realise we are all slowly but surely being de-platformed or forced down a path against our will?

As 1600 new coal-fired powered stations are at various stages of construction across the globe, Australia’s coal-related industries are being refused finance and indemnity insurance. It’s just another attempt to de-industrialise and de-platform 40,000 jobs in Australia’s second-largest minerals export industry.

If you take away the capacity for any business related to the thermal coal industry to borrow money or insure their workers, you starve the industry of service providers and expertise, leading to its inevitable death.
The way I see it is politicians have lost the ability to control our own markets and instead big businesses are making the decisions for us.

Qantas CEO, Alan Joyce suggested compulsory vaccination before passengers could travel on the countries flagship airline. Again, big business dictating the direction of health policy over politicians and the individual rights of a person.

Channel Nine cancelled my weekly appearance on the Today Show following statements I had made relating to the public housing lockdown across Melbourne during the first wave of coronavirus cases in Victoria. I had simply restated comments already made by Victorian Premier, Daniel Andrews.

Daring to argue on national television for the removal of at-risk indigenous kids from their alcoholic / drug dependant or deviant families will see you faced with a date in front of the Human Rights Council and the possibility of losing your home.

And let’s not forget how politicians have carelessly or deliberately (I’m not quite convinced on which one) committed Australia to United Nations and destructive Free Trade Agreements that are costing us jobs and slowly eroding our Sovereignty.

If you find yourself worried to say what you truly think out of fear of what repercussions might come your way - you're not alone. We are all being stifled and de-platformed regardless of whether you're a social media user or not.

ONE NATION’S WESTERN AUSTRALIA LEADERS WANTS BETTER FUNDING FOR SCHOOL CHILDREN

One Nation WA leader Colin Tincknell says it is a travesty that thousands of WA children will return to school in coming weeks without the tools and materials they need while the State Government is literally rolling in billions of dollars of windfall iron ore royalties.

“Children who go to school without adequate resources do not get the same advantage from school as their better-equipped peers and that disadvantage can follow them throughout their education,” Mr Tincknell said.

“The Treasurer admitted on radio today that he doesn’t intend to use this windfall to pay down debt and will not be making commitments that will require ongoing funding, so he’s using it as an election slush fund.

“The Treasurer should look beyond marginal electorates at the broader community to families that are experiencing record levels of hardship under the McGowan Government.”

Mr Tincknell said four years of the McGowan Government had increased the number of WA households in poverty, increased the number of homeless on our streets, increased the number of homebuyers in mortgage stress and increased the number of families unable to pay their power and water bills.

“A one-off $200 boost per school child to help pay for school supplies and technology would put tens of thousands of children on the same footing as their peers and take the financial pressure off households across the state,” Mr Tincknell said.

“There can be no better investment in the State’s future then investing in the education of our children.

“With 300,000 students due to return to school next month, this policy would cost McGowan government $60 million, plus the administration costs, which is less than 4 per cent of the $1.5 billion windfall he is pocketing in unexpected iron ore royalties.”

That is this weeks recap from One Nation.

While you're here, we'd love to ask a favour. We are a party with fewer resources than Labor with their union donations and the Liberals with their big corporates, but with your help and by listening to the people, we can achieve real change in parliament for the betterment of the country.

One Nation is run on purely grassroots support. We rely on the contributions of mums, dads, daughters and sons from the top to bottom of Australia to stay running as a party and every dollar counts.

We appreciate times are tough but even a small amount of support makes a difference. Your help enables us to keep up the fight in politics and get Australia back on track.
