Republican Sen. Josh Hawley has unapologetically peddled political conspiracy theories in an attempt to delegitimize our nation's democracy, and can therefore be held directly responsible for five people losing their lives during the attack on the Capitol building last Wednesday.
It's undeniable -- Sen. Hawley has blood on his hands.
Over 7,000 lawyers and law students have signed a petition for Sen. Hawley to be disbarred, citing the Senator's “efforts to undermine the peaceful transition of power after a free and fair election” as just cause.
We agree that Sen. Hawley is unfit to practice law, and more crucially, is fundamentally no longer eligible to serve in the Senate. Hawley's continued attempts to dismantle our democratic institutions cannot go unanswered. That's why we're asking you now:
