John,
Armed white supremacists attacked lawmakers in Washington, D.C., last week, leaving five people dead, and the NRA had nothing to say.
Silence from the NRA and the gun lobby – who easily find their voice when promoting assualt weapons or speaking out against common-sense gun legislation, only emboldens white supremacist violence across the nation. Threats of white supremacist-backed attacks still loom over state capitols across the country, and we cannot afford to stay silent like the evil NRA.
Hate and bigotry should never be armed, period. Right now, we must unite and take decisive action to protect our nation from violent white supremacists before it’s too late. That’s why Brady is fighting back – but our live petition is closing at midnight tonight — and we need to know if you’re with us in this critical fight, John:

For decades, the NRA’s extremist agenda has put Americans at risk, and even in the face of deadly attacks they refuse to denounce the danger of armed white supremacist violence, which they help spur. The gun lobby would rather continue fear-mongering and race-baiting the public to push gun sales instead of protecting American lives.
This hateful rhetoric has emboldened white supremacists to take violent action against our lawmakers and our democratic institutions, and now, more than ever, we must stand firmly against their armed violence and hate. It’s up to us.
