Folks,
I know we’re all more than a little bit excited about the incoming administration, and that goes for those of us who know a little about on-screen White Houses, too.
On television, I played the President’s Speechwriter-turned-Press Secretary on Designated Survivor, and in real life, I had the honor of serving as an Associate Director in the White House Office of Public Engagement during the Obama-Biden Administration.
Which is why I am thrilled that in just 6 days we will inaugurate Joe Biden and Kamala Harris and restore decency to the White House, and why I’m honored to be a part of it by hosting a discussion tomorrow night at 7 PM ET with some of my friends, fellow actors, and strong supporters of this incoming administration to help raise money for the non-profit Inaugural Committee.
If you haven’t already, will you make a donation of any amount to join me, Bellamy Young, Richard Schiff, Bradley Whitford, Dulé Hill, Mary McCormack, Janel Moloney, and more for a discussion about our shows: Designated Survivor, The West Wing, and Scandal? We’ll talk about what it’s like to portray the White House on screen.

In this group, we all worked on shows that pulled from real-life events to try and capture what it was like to be in that highest office in the country.
So believe me when I say, we are all thrilled that soon Joe Biden and Kamala Harris will be at the helm to lead with compassion and integrity.
But don’t just take that from me -- join us tomorrow to hear about it yourself from a bunch of great actors and help us raise enough money to pull off an incredible inauguration deserving of this new chapter in our nation’s history.
Chip in any amount today, and the inauguration team will send you a link in your receipt to join our conversation tomorrow at 7 PM ET. It should be a good time, with lots of laughs and maybe a few behind the scenes set secrets.
Thanks for your support and see you tomorrow!
