John, Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez reminded us just how serious the attack on the Capitol was last week, and how much work we have as a country to move forward.

In her Instagram Live on Tuesday night, AOC did not mince words when describing the hatred and white supremacy behind last week’s attack.

As we proceed, as a movement, by holding Trump and all of those responsible for the attack on the Capitol accountable, it can be difficult at times to see a path forward for a better future. But that’s another reason we’re grateful to be fighting alongside AOC for the future.

AOC said it best Tuesday night: “The only way forward is a multiracial democracy that fights for the economic rights of all people and the civil rights of all people. Period.”
