It’s official: impeachment is moving on to the Senate. President Trump’s unpatriotic attack on our democracy is the worst attack any president has ever committed on America. I’m grateful that 10 of my GOP colleagues voted to defend our democracy.

Yesterday, as Judiciary Chairman, I managed the House debate and remained determined to protect the rule of law — and will continue to do so throughout this process.

As the trial of Donald Trump moves to the Senate, it’s important that we stay focused. It’s clear that Trump’s collaborators in Congress are hostile. We can’t let these domestic enemies prevent justice for the American people.

This is why I’m asking you to click here to demand the Senate convict Donald Trump and ban him from holding federal office! [[link removed]]

As much as President Trump wants to make this about partisanship, the truth is that we all swore an oath to the Constitution.

This means holding him accountable for his actions, even in his final week in office. We can't back down. The future of our democracy depends on it.

Onward,

Jerry
