Yesterday, Lou voted to impeach President Trump for the 2nd time.
January 6th was a sad day in our nation's history. A mob of insurgents led by our own President, attacked our capitol. The sight of Americans under attack from their own left many questioning the strength of our democracy. Yesterday’s impeachment reaffirmed that, no one is above the law. The President's words and actions, that led to the insurrection at the capitol, WILL NOT be tolerated.
We have 6 days to go until President-Elect Joe Biden takes the oath of office. It will be a welcome change to have a President who can lead America and govern with trust and respect. President-Elect Biden has a plan to deliver a coordinated response to Covid-19, while scientifically and safely reopening our economy. It is time for unity, it is time for change.
As Lou votes in Congress he'll keep his promise and continue the fight for his hard working class friends and neighbors whose lives have been shattered by the pandemic.
