I know the pandemic has made us all feel isolated at one point or another, but I can’t help but think of the families we help. You see, many of them have grown up feeling isolated. Living in rural communities far from cities, resources, even neighbors, these hardworking people often feel alone, without anyone to turn to. And the pandemic made things worse.
I wish you could see the joy in their faces when we pass on your heartfelt messages. They are touched that someone across the globe — a complete stranger to them — cares for them enough to take a few minutes to encourage them during this challenging time. Your words give them the extra confidence, especially now, that they need to succeed.
Please take a moment to send your message. Your words will serve as a treasured reminder that the people in our programs are not alone on their journey to break free from hunger and poverty.
