An important update from Diabetes UK
People with diabetes at highest risk from coronavirus must be protected

With the number of coronavirus cases in the UK continuing to rise so rapidly, together with JDRF we’ve written to the four Chief Medical Officers of the UK to urgently call for an immediate extension to the shielding list to include those people with diabetes who are most at risk. We're not asking for everyone with diabetes to shield – you can find more information on our website about who we think should shield, and why.  If you’re feeling worried or have any questions about what this means for you, our helpline team are here – call us on 0345 123 2399 from 9am to 6pm Monday to Friday, or email us at [email protected].
