One week ago, a violent group of insurrectionists hoping to overturn the results of our fair election took over the Capitol, parroting the President's false claims of election fraud and heeding his calls to go to the Capitol.

Donald Trump helped spark and cultivate that insurrection. Republicans and Democrats both agree about that.

But, Michelle Steel just voted against impeaching him, implicitly condoning his actions. Will you join me in denouncing that vote today?



Michelle Steel's vote just showed Donald Trump and our country that his role in catalyzing one of the most devastating riots against our democracy was acceptable.

Let's be clear: Donald Trump's role was not acceptable. And, neither was Michelle Steel's vote.
