Dear John,

On January 6th we witnessed an attack on our country, our democracy, and on us, provoked by a lying President who was just impeached — again. We know the truth. The people voted in record numbers to end Trump’s presidency and swear in elected officials who respect the oath of office. Throughout this crisis our North Star remains as steady as ever: together, we can chart a path forward toward a vibrant, multi-racial democracy that works for all of us.

This is a pivotal time in our nation’s history. GOP elected officials who acted to overturn the will of the people in a free and fair election and spread lies must be held to account and face consequences.

Add your voice to this petition right now to remove Minnesota U.S. Representatives Jim Hagedorn and Michelle Fischbach from office. We call on Minnesota U.S. Representatives Tom Emmer and Pete Stauber to resign immediately for their complicity in the attack provoked by Trump and their role in spreading baseless claims about the election.

It is an honor and a privilege to represent Minnesotans. GOP officials in Congress have violated their oath of office, spreading lies and stoking division for political gain. There must be consequences, as well as full investigations into the invasion of our U.S. Capitol on January 6.

Precedent matters. Take action right now. Add your voice to this petition now.
