IMPEACHED!

Donald Trump just became the only president in American history to be impeached TWICE. The condemnation was bipartisan -- 10 Republicans including Liz Cheney voted to impeach the worst president ever.

This result wouldn't have happened without public outrage and activism. Thank you for your passionate activism this past week.

Now, we turn to the Senate. We need 67 senators to convict Trump so he can never run for office again. We're halfway there -- 34 senators. (The New York Times reports even Mitch McConnell may vote to convict, so this is very possible.)

Reacting to the news that McConnell may support conviction, Rachel Maddow said, "24 hours ago I would not have told you I thought this would be a live question. But apparently this is a live question. Just remarkable news."
