Donald Trump was caught on tape trying to rig a presidential election. Twice.

In a call to Georgia Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger, he urged Georgia officials to "find" enough votes to overturn the outcome. In another call to Georgia's lead investigator for voter fraud, he told him he could be a "national hero" if only he just happened to find some fraud that favored Trump. And last week, his attempts to overturn a democratic election led to a violent attack on the Capitol.

Our nation has established laws that prohibit interference in federal or state elections. When Donald Trump pressured Georgia officials to "find" votes and reverse the election outcome, he broke both Georgia state and federal laws that prohibit solicitation of election fraud.
